I have multiple email accounts setup in my windows 8 mail app.  I can view the mail account details in settings except for one. This is charter email. I would like to remove it. But since clicking on the email account name in settings takes me back to the Windows Start Screen, I do not have the option to remove it.  I tried disconnect my pc from the internet, and all the recommendations from this discussion site, but nothing works.  Would someone please help?  Thank you.

Have you tried  Apps troubleshooter ? If there is any issue with mail app it will fix it.

You may also reinstall mail app from Stores.
